Categories - Accounting Job InformationDescription This organization has openings for a senior tax and accounting specialist to help manage the accounting and tax obligations of the firm and its Clients. The job involves i) preparing financial statements and tax returns ii) liaising with auditing firms and tax authorities and iii) bank reconciliations. While a degree in Accounting is preferred, it is not a prerequisite, as on-the-job training is provided. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an analytical mind, work in a logical manner and be focused. A good command of the English language and an ability to communicate clearly is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, as well as other accounting software, is useful. The position may be suitable for college graduates who wish to obtain accounting and taxation experience prior to university study. Monthly salary will range between $3000 and S$6,000 depending how fast the successful candidate adapts to the new role.
