AAS Member Pricing The event is hugely discounted for AAS members so it's worth joining for $120/year for a family membership which gives you discounts to all our events throughout the year and special access to certain AAS member-only events as well as a weekly newsletter and more. The AAS membership is worth it! Please choose the appropriate pricing when paying. OUTLINE OF YOUR DAY

Grab your breakfast courtesy of The American Club then board a ferry from Singapore's Tanah Merah ferry terminal at 8:30 am to Tanjung Pengelih. (The water is less rough on this crossing than the crossing straight to Desaru.) Then you'll take a chartered bus ride (provided by AAS) from the ferry terminal to The Els Clubhouse to get your locker assignment where your goodie bag and Hard Rock-branded cap will be waiting. Your suitcases will be tagged and taken to the hotel to be picked up after the tournament. 

 

Then enjoy a pre-round, buffet lunch at The Els. Finally, it's time for the big event: a shotgun start and an exhilarating day of tournament play on the Ocean Course,  billed as the best golf course in Southeast Asia. After golf head back to the hotel for a rocking awards dinner with two hours of free-flow beer & wine, and a live music concert. Fab, right? 

 

On Sunday after breakfast, you have two options: 1) top-up and take a special 11:00 am chartered bus back to Singapore. Or 2) stay and enjoy the day, then catch the 5:30 pm ferry back to Tanah Merah. You can either add an extra day of golf (see below for extra golf details); or head to the water park attached to the hotel (each registered guest staying at the hotel gets a free ticket to the water park); or do something else fab. Here are some other suggestions. You decide! 

 

IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION INFO!

TRIP TO DESARU OPTIONS There is no longer an early morning ferry straight to Desaru Coast that will get you to Desaru in time for the tournament. 1. 8.30 am Ferry from Singapore to Tanjung Pengelih, which should arrive by 9.15-9.30 am. Then you'll take a chartered bus ride (provided by AAS) from the ferry terminal to the course.

2. Arrange your own transportation and arrive to The Els by 11:00 am.

 

RETURN TRIP TO SINGAPORE OPTIONS 1. 11:00 am AAS chartered bus (If you want to take the AAS bus, please top up at check out.) 2. 5:30 pm return ferry from Desaru Coast to Tanah Merah ferry terminal (Singapore). Please note, you must book ferries (to and from) yourself here. Remember to select the March 22, 8:30 am ferry from Tanah Merah to Tanjung Pengelih for the outbound trip. The return ferry is March 23, 5:30 pm ferry from Desaru to Tanah Merah in Singapore. We are working on a discount code for the ferry.

Equipped with state-of-the-art Visage GPS system, drive your shared electric golf cart stocked with snacks, water and beer and enjoy your day on the spectacular links overlooking the South China Sea. Challenge yourself on our fun novelty holes. 

 

Awards Dinner

Following the tournament, all golfers will enjoy our always-fun Awards Dinner at SESSIONS Restaurant by Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. Enjoy a full buffet menu with live stations such as burgers, tacos and satays and free-flow beer and wine for two hours. Want hard liquor? You can treat yourself at the hotel's bar. After dinner, hang at SESSIONS for a live concert, Hard Rock style.

 

If you brought your family, you can top up and bring them along to the dinner. What fun! Or they can skip the awards dinner and eat on their own. Top up for awards dinner for non-golfers: Adults with two-hours free flow beer & wine: $95 Children 12 and under: $25

Family Fun

Have a family that would like to tag along? Great! There is no better place for a family than Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. For starters, the hotel has a lovely outdoor pool. Send the kids to the absolutely fabulous Roxity Kids Club for children age 4+ while you enjoy some spa treatments with a musical twist at the Rock Spa. Be sure to book these with the hotel when you register as they book up quickly. The great thing? If you bring your kids, they'll be well taken care of while you play golf!

 

Oh and there's more! The hotel backs up onto Adventure Waterpark Desaru Coast, a massive waterpark, home to the first-ever water coaster in the region and one of the biggest wave pools in the world! Your kids will love this place! All registered hotel guests will receive a complimentary water park ticket, one entry per person, per stay.
