Fourth of July

Happy Birthday, USA!

 

AAS is absolutely delighted to once again to have host the Fourth of July celebration at Singapore American School.once again. We've been celebrating there since 1967!

 

Every year is a ton of fun with  toe-tapping live music, yummy food, old-fashioned carnival games, a marketplace, many bouncy castles and delicious F&B. Plus, we have a fun watermelon eating contest,

 

Everybody is welcome to share in our big bash, not just Americans but anybody who wants to come and have a good time. Typically? We welcome thousands of guests every year! Trust us. This is a Fourth of July event like you've never seen before. It's so fun!

We're delighted that Singapore American School is once again our title sponsor. They've been working with AAS for years to bring you a truly special celebration - ever since1967!

 

Here's what we have in a typical year:

CARNIVAL GAMES
Carnival games galore with prizes for all the kiddies. We'll also have a spin-the-wheel for adults and kids. This is always a favorite!

 

BOUNCY CASTLES

Get your bounce on in one of our several bouncy castles. Buy a "Bounce All Day" wristband and let your little kids burn off all their energy!

CONTESTS

• Best dressed
  Show off your red, white, and blue and your American spirit by dressing your whole family up in your favorite 4th of July garb. Stop by the photo booth to register. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed!!
   

• Pie Bake-Off 
  Calling all bakers! If you think you have a winning pie recipe, please bring along your baked treat for a chance to win some great prizes!  Stay tuned for info about the judges.
   

• Watermelon Speed-Eating 
  Love watermelon? Join a speed-eating contest for both kids and adults! 

 

FOOD
Eat at our picnic tables or spread out a blanket and enjoy a feast!

• Popcorn, candy floss, and snow cones

• American favorites like hot dogs, burgers, BBQ and more

• Beer and other beverages

 

MARKETPLACE
We'll have a marketplace where you can discover small businesses and local boutiques selling gourmet foods, fashion, toys, crafts, homewares, and more.

PHOTO BOOTH 
Show those pearly whites and take a patriotic photo to be entered into the Best Dressed contests.

​

AMERICAN SISTER ORGS

Our sister American organizations are always on hand, so you can learn more about all that's happening in the American world in Singapore. Be sure to stop by one of their game booths.

FIREWORKS?

Now that construction at the school is done, we hope to have fireworks in 2025 and are already working with a vendor.

 

VOLUNTEERS

We need an army of volunteers to help with this event. Scouts who volunteer can earn a community service patch. Stay tuned for volunteer sign-up information, and please pitch in. 

 

COSTS

You get all this for free! That's right. Entrance is free, but you'll need to purchase tickets to play the carnival games, bounce on the castles, and buy food and beverages.
